The solar cells’ active interface can be made as blends of polymers and the oxide thus application on flexible substrates is possible. We look for partners to optimize the technology which is in an early stage of research.

TITLE: Mobile measurement-based building energy audit system
ABSTRACT: A Hungarian research centre intended to submit a proposal to the FP7 Research for SMEs call (FP7-SME-2010) is inviting partners to develop a portable energy audit system. TITLE: Vision improving aid for visually impaired people
ABSTRACT: A Hungarian research centre intending to submit a proposal to the FP7 Research for SMEs call (FP7-SME-2010-1) is inviting partners to develop digital glasses for the visually impaired. The objective is to develop “digital” glasses which will increase the contrast and edge detection of the visually impaired and thus help them recognize different objects easier.

TITLE: New therapeutics using nanotechnology to transport macro-molecules across biological barriers
ABSTRACT: In the last years several encouraging results against brain tumours and neurodegenerative disorders have emerged by the employment of new potentials drug candidates by in vitro studies (neuronal cultures and/or glioblastoma cell lines). Unfortunately almost all these molecules failed in preclinical models of human diseases or in clinical trials. One of the main problems of the mismatch between in vitro and in vivo studies is the difficulties encountered by these compounds in reaching the specific target once administered in patients or in mice. The difficulty in crossing membranes and in penetrating into the diseased areas represents one of the main problems in the treatment of tumours and in neurodegenerative diseases. The production of alternative systems for the delivering of drugs in brain tissues can be, therefore, considered as important as the synthesis of new pharmacological compounds.

· Voice Interface: Through the use of voice recognition can provide a series of commands or keywords that may guide the user in the desired direction (with a focus on disability). This technology includes the development of a database containing the words that can be used and to study possible solutions to reduce the noise of the microphones.
· Gestural Interface: In this case the use of Gestural technologies can make it more intuitive and usable screen. Through multitouch screen, in fact, you can use all the fingers of one hand and provide a series of natural gestures to improve the usability of user interface and easier use by disabled.
· Content Management: Developing a WEBTV platform to facilitate access to and use for the disabled. The platform should include information on services available.

ABSTRACT: The underlying aim of the European bio-incubator network will be to:
1) Better understand the motivation and drivers behind early stage internationalization
(leading to FDI) within life sciences based SMEs
2) Define and deliver a Pan-European incubator network strategy – specifically to support early stage bioscience companies internationalize within the EU.
3) Identify the specific needs of international bio-entrepreneurs in order to provide appropriate infrastructure and “Standardized services” to accelerate early stage internationalization and FDI across Europe (see below).

TITLE: Digitizing Content For Europeana.
ABSTRACT: The project will revolve around the digitization of travel books from the 16th-20th century from the islands of the Mediterranean. The project involves gathering exploration narratives, descriptions of travelling etc, which will be subsequently digitized from another partner of the project- a digitization company- for access on Europeana. A respectable amount of partners has agreed to participate such as foundations with excellent collections, libraries, educational and culture authorities etc.
We are currently looking for a partner who can either contribute to our collections to be digitized or for someone who can offer INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS knowledge so as to be leader of the specific work package. We have received legal advice on the issue of IPR but wish to dedicate an entire WP on the subject in order to ensure best effectiveness.
